Compass2Career aims to support you as female master's students in expanding your skills in the areas of research, teaching, and knowledge transfer. As part of this, you will be integrated into existing team structures at the faculties of HTWK Leipzig as research assistants (WHKs), gaining comprehensive insights into the academic operations of the university. The program is designed to spark your interest and curiosity for an academic career while clearly outlining the necessary steps to pursue it.
Through the program, we connect you with a professorship: As research assistants, you will support professors in research projects and teaching. In doing so, you will expand your academic competencies, explore possible career paths in academia, and gain insights into the role of a university of applied sciences (HAW) professor.

A digital information event for interested female Master's students will take place on 19 May 2025 from 15:00-16:00.

Compass2Career combines career planning with working as a research assistant. This allows you to gain insights into academic operations, participate in career-boosting workshops, and benefit from individual 1:1 mentoring sessions.
